Nursing union activist and Socialist Alliance member Chris Jenkins explains the issues in the dispute between nurses and the WA government. The "Labor" government threatened deregistration and other intimidations against the Australian Nursing Federation in the lead up to the November 25 strike action which mobilised thousands of workers.
However, the union leadership could be doing more to defend the interests of WA nurses and midwives.
