British socialist, feminist, lesbian, left-wing protest singer Grace Petrie is currently touring Australia accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Ben Moss. Described as "the best, funniest, boppiest, most warmhearted protest singer I've seen in ages", Petrie sat down with Kamala Emanuel from Green Left to discuss: what inspires her music; progress and challenges for queer liberation; trans rights; and British politics in the time since Jeremy Corbyn was ousted as (opposition) Labour leader.
