Green Left's Jacob Andrewartha spoke to Aishik Saha an activist with All India Students' Association and a researcher on digital and algorithmic labour about the real meaning of the emergence of AI development under capitalism.
Is it an apocalyptic existential threat as presented by many CEOs & tech 'leaders' or is it an accentuation of existing threats posed to the weakest sections of the working class?
Aishik Saha, will be speaking at a session on "'Artificial intelligence', capitalism and liberation" at the upcoming Ecosocialism 2023: A World Beyond Capitalism conference on July 1-2 in Naarm/Melbourne.
