denial of self determination of Jewish people is as unacceptable as denial of self determination of the Vietnamese or Palestinian people. At the current incomplete state of a socialist world order, socialists should be working in good faith and cooperatively to allow all aspirations for ethnic, labor and cultural self determination to be realized peacefully and cooperative. At this time, regrettably, both the Jewish and Arab communities are diverted by nationalism without a drop of working class consciousness or solidarity. Lenin and Stalin recognized Jews as an ethnic group. If they could, so can today’s socialists.
